Working Principle of Automatic Screw Locking Machine: The machine consists of an automatic screw sorting unit, automatic screw feeding unit, automatic screw tightening unit and inspection unit for locking process. The automatic screw sorting unit arranges scattered screws in order and outputs them one by one. Sorting can be realized by a vibrating plate sorting mechanism or a swing-arm screw sorting mechanism.

1. The automatic screw feeding unit transports the sorted single screws to the working head of the screw tightening unit.

2. The automatic screw tightening unit includes rotary power components and screw guiding components. Air blowing type and suction type are two common screw feeding modes. Generally speaking, the air blowing type delivers continuous operation without reciprocating movement of the working head, so it boasts higher overall efficiency than the suction type. However, the air blowing type is limited by screw shape and length-diameter ratio, so it is not compatible with all types of screws.

3. The inspection unit detects missing locking, floating screws, material jamming and other abnormal conditions. Conventional automatic screw locking machines also feature workpiece positioning and screw hole alignment functions. Single-axis and multi-axis screw tightening systems are the mainstream types.

4. Matched with X-Y manipulator or moving platform, the single-axis screw tightening system can complete full-automatic screw locking. XY-table automatic screw lockers are highly efficient and particularly suitable for locking multiple screw holes on a single workpiece.
