In our daily life, bottle caps are quite common. So, do you know what the production process of the medicine cap closing machine is? Let's have a detailed discussion about it here.

According to the production process: they can be divided into injection molded caps and compression molded caps.

    1. Injection Mold Production Process: The feeding machine sucks the mixed materials into the injection machine barrel. Inside the barrel, the materials are heated to a molten and plasticized state. Then, they are injected into the mold cavity. After cooling and solidification in the cavity, the mold is removed. Finally, the ring is cut off and pads are added to complete the production of the injection mold.

II. Production Process of Injection Mold Cover: The feeding machine sucks the mixed materials into the barrel of the injection molding machine. After being heated to a semi-molten and plasticized state in the barrel, the materials are quantitatively extruded into the mold cavity. The upper and lower molds close together, undergo injection molding, cooling and shaping, and then demolding. Finally, the ring is cut and pads are added to complete the production of the injection mold cover.

    1. The plastic molding process has a lower temperature and a smaller shrinkage rate, resulting in more precise lid dimensions.

    2. The injection cap requires heating the material to a molten and flowing state, with the temperature around 250℃; while the compression molding only needs to be heated to around 180℃. The energy consumption of the injection cap is higher than that of the compression molding cap.

    3. The injection molding machine for bottle caps is a dedicated machine for bottle caps, with specific demolding plans tailored for bottle caps. In contrast, the injection molding machine for bottle caps does not have any specific designs for bottle caps. Therefore, the pressure-molding caps can be made with a flared shape, resulting in a high hang-up rate, and users prefer to use them.

    4. During injection molding, all the mold cavities are filled at once. In compression molding, a bottle cap material is extruded each time. The extrusion pressure in compression molding is relatively low, while the pressure required for injection molding is quite high.

    5. The injection mold has a large volume and it is troublesome to replace a single mold cavity. In contrast, the compression molding molds are relatively independent for each cavity, allowing for individual replacement.

The above is all the information about the production process of the medicine cap and lid assembly machine that the editor has provided. We hope it will be helpful to everyone.
